Counselling
Crystal James, MSW, RCSW
If you are noticing yourself struggling with stress or anxiety, sadness or depression, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, anger, relationships, or any number of other challenges – you are not alone. I believe that our individual struggles are connected to deep historical wounds within our families, communities, and society. It is my privilege to support teens, adults and parents/caregivers to develop a deeper understanding of their struggles, tools to manage, and ultimately come home to themselves.
About Me
Hi, I’m Crystal — a Registered Clinical Social Worker based in the unceded territory of the Lək̓ʷəŋən (Songhees and Xʷsepsəm/Esquimalt) peoples, also known as Victoria, BC. I was born in Trinidad and Tobago, and my life’s journey across cultures has deeply shaped my commitment to authenticity, diversity, and decolonization in healing. My work is rooted in compassion and connection, supporting others to find belonging and come home to themselves.
