How do I schedule an appointment?

Appointments can be scheduled by phone or email or through the contact section of this page.

How often should I come to counselling?

Some people come weekly, others every other week, and some once a month. I will work with you to decide on what frequency will work best for your needs, concerns and capacity.

What is the fee for a counselling session?

I charge $160 per 50-minute session, with no tax. I also offer a limited number of sliding-scale spots for BIPOC clients.

I contract with VICCIR, which supports anyone born outside Canada through a sliding-scale model. Self-refer here.

I am also an approved FNHA provider; eligible clients are covered through the Mental Wellness & Counselling benefit and billed directly.

Are fees covered by insurance?

If you have access to benefits through your employer you may be eligible for reimbursement. Check to see if your benefits plan covers Registered Clinical Social Workers. You will receive a receipt that can be submitted to your benefits provider for reimbursement.

I contract with the Vancouver Island Counselling Centre for Immigrants and Refugees (VICCIR). If you qualify, your sessions may be fully or partially covered.

I am an approved service provider with the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA). If you qualify, your sessions will be fully covered.
